Gems on a plane

A woman left jewellery worth $4 million (Dh14.6m) she was bringing for singer Rita Ora (pictured) to wear at Cannes on a plane, police said. The star was loaned the gems by a luxury brand to walk the red carpet. But a courier from London forgot her luggage when leaving her plane at Nice Airport. The jewellery was recovered at London Luton and sent back to Nice.
