Shatrughan Sinha first came to Dubai in 1983 to shoot for Chor Police, which was the directorial debut movie of actor Amjad Khan and among the first Bollywood movies to be filmed in the UAE. In 1985, Sinha and Khan filmed another movie in Dubai called Ameer Aadmi, Ghareeb Aadmi.
