Masked shooter shows his face to victim’s wife

Killer told her to identify him properly

Ashooter came back after killing a man in Bihar, and bared his face before victim’s wife, asking her to identify him “properly”. The police have arrested three suspects in connection with the killing but the main shooter is yet to be identified.

Police said Chandan Kumar, a resident of Patna, was carrying his wife to the hospital on a bike on Wednesday when motorcycle-borne masked gunmen overtook him and shot in the back from close range.

The victim and his wife fell from the bike as the shooters watched from a distance. When the victim tried to stand up, the killers returned and pumped three more bullets into him.

“Before fleeing, one of the shooters removed the mask and showed his face to me. He told me ‘identify me properly’. I have shot him dead,” the victim’s wife, Kusum Kumari, told police yesterday.
