Al Masaood Automobiles wins award

Dealer becomes top performer for Renault globally

- Staff Report

Al Masaood Automobiles, Abu Dhabi’s leading car dealership and distributors of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault, has won the 2019 edition of the “Renault Global Partners Award, P.A.R.I.S. Challenge”.

It is the highest accolade for car dealerships for performance in sales and aftersales — such as tapping into new market segments, posting an increase in sales volume and providing the company’s signature touch of excellence in customer satisfaction.

Renault Abu Dhabi was recognised as the best performing Renault dealership in 2019 globally for marking Year-onYear progress to reinforce the French auto brand’s position as evidenced in its achievement of 40 per cent sales growth in 2019, resulting in an increased market share of 1.4 per cent in the Abu Dhabi market.

This milestone is attributed to the successful efforts to revamp Renault’s brand image across the Abu Dhabi market — adopting a re-formulated marketing strategy focused on locally based retail and fleet customers.

In addition, Renault Abu Dhabi’s Sales and After Sales teams demonstrated strong commitment and dedication in attracting new clients, drawing in new customer demographics to the brand’s client portfolio, and sustaining the business through diverse offerings and value-added services. As a result of their efforts, the last two years have seen Renault Abu Dhabi’s posting of unprecedented performance levels despite challenging market situations.

Masaood Ahmad Al Masaood, Chairman, Al Masaood Group, said, “We are proud to receive this distinction, which consolidates our position as a global benchmark across the thriving automotive market.”

Irfan Tansel, Chief Executive Officer, Al Masaood Automobiles, said: “It is very gratifying to have received this prestigious global award from Renault, as it recognises the tremendous efforts that the Al Masaood Automobiles’ team has invested to grow and expand the Renault brand in Abu Dhabi.”
