Piece of Kiswa, items owned by movie stars to be auctioned

A piece of the kiswa (covering of the Kaaba), embroidered in gold and silver, donated by His Highness Shaikh

Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will be among the items auctioned on Saturday. ‘The Sailor’ and ‘In Front of House Looking West’ will be on display alongside ‘Untitled’ and ‘Personages, Oiseau’ by Joan Miró, ‘Fleurs dans un vase’ by Henri Matisse, as well as ‘Study of faces: Madonna, Child and Profile of a Man’ by Salvador Dali.
