Abu Dhabi: Dh2,000 fine for parking at bus stops

Motorists parking at bus stops, or using them to stop and pick or drop passengers will be fined Dh2,000, Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre warned.

The ITC will deploy inspectors to counter the practice and will also monitor bus stops through traffic cameras. Over the last two years, the ITC has enhanced the emirate’s public bus network and services, including redesigning routes and introducing 140 new vehicles in 2020. Buses also offer free Wi-Fi connectivity.
