EMIRATES, FLYDUBAI ISSUE ADVISORIES

-

Emirates and flydubai on Tuesday joined Indian carriers Indigo, Spicejet and Vistara in announcing Dubai’s change in test validity.

“Passengers are required to take a Covid-19 PCR test not more than 48 hours before departure,” Emirates stated on its website.

The UAE will accept RT PCR results from any lab authorised by the Government of India. Results will only be accepted if they carry a QR code linked to the original report, it added.

Flydubai also advised its passengers to carry a printed copy carrying a QR code of a negative PCR test result taken no more than 48 hours prior to departure to Dubai.

Indigo said that results — only in English or Arabic — from a government-approved lab should be signed and stamped by authorities. Handwritten certificates shall not be permitted, it added.
