Man slaps paramedic after father dies

An Emirati man is on trial at the Dubai Court of First Instance for slapping an Indian paramedic at Rashid Hospital.

The incident dates back to September when an ambulance rushed the man’s father to hospital following a neck injury at his Nad Al Sheba residence. However, doctors could not save him. The 32-year-old man said that his sister told him that the female paramedic had been negligent and he went to the hospital and slapped her in anger.

The left side of my head was in pain and I was bleeding from my mouth as well,” the 43-year-old paramedic said.
