A Dubai-based man, accused of sexually assaulting a boy, has admitted to the charge, claiming that he was sick and couldn’t stop himself.

According to the Dubai Court of First Instance, the Pakistani defendant, 38, went to the teenaged boy’s home in Oud Metha to repair a water pipe. On learning that the boy was alone at home, the accused allegedly touched the boy’s private parts and tried to kiss him. The boy ran to his room, but the man followed him and repeated the assault.

Police officers identified the man from a CCTV footage. A policeman who arrested the defendant said: “He told me that he was sick and whenever he was around children, he couldn’t help but try touching them.”
