Heavy rains, thundersto­rm kill 10

Fatalities reported from Punjab, Balochista­n and Khyber Pakthunkhw­a

- ISLAMABAD

At least ten people lost their lives due to heavy rains and winds in different parts of Pakistan. Five people were killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhw­a (KP), three in Balochista­n and two in Punjab.

According to Khyber Pakhtunkhw­a’s Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), five people lost their lives in different rain-related incidents, while six others sustained injuries in the upper areas of the provinces. Among the dead, four belonged to Mansehra while one of the deceased was from Torghar District.
