CASES HIT RECORD LOW IN AUGUST

Kuwait reported 11,322 Covid cases and 91 deaths in August, the lowest case count in eight months. In comparison, July saw 38,587 infections.

Deaths in August decreased by 72 per cent compared to July, when the country was witnessing double digit deaths daily.

The number of patients in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) is the lowest since January. As of Wednesday, there were 84 patients in ICU, a 250 per cent decrease compared to a month ago. Three ICU wards have closed as patient occupancy decreases.
