Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, who said: “The new initiatives related to the digital economy aim to attract significant investments and funding in the new economic opportunities around digital transformation, artificial intelligence and the emerging technologies that will shape the smart
societies of the future.
The digital economy and artificial intelligence will certainly have a pivotal role in supporting the country’s efforts to transition to a knowledge economy that focuses on sectors with high added value.”
The digital economy will be a major element of the “Projects of the 50”, reflecting the integral role that technologies and artificial intelligence will play in driving the country’s next phase of its development, he added.
