Real estate deals worth Dh2b concluded in Dubai yesterday

Al Merkadh tops list of areas in terms of number of sales of villas and apartments

Real estate deals worth Dh2 billion were concluded yesterday, According to the Dubai Land Department. The department recorded 283 sale transactio­ns at the value of Dh634.93 million, including 19 land deals that were stricken at Dh65.31 million, and 264 deals for selling apartments and villas for Dh569.62 million.

Nad Al Sheba 1 topped the list of areas in terms of the number of transactio­ns with four deals worth Dh11 million.

Expensive deals

Palm Jumeirah saw the most expensive deal where a villa was sold for Dh37 million, followed by Business Bay where a deal worth Dh29 million was concluded and finally Warsan 4 saw a Dh24 million deal.

With 35 sale deals worth Dh59 million, Al Merkadh topped the list of areas in terms of the number of the sales of villas and apartments.

A total of 99 mortgages worth Dh1.16 billion were stricken yesterday, including 22 land mortgages for Dh385.53 million, and 77 villa and nine apartment mortgages that were concluded for Dh773.54 million. Nine grants worth Dh244.95 were also recorded, with one grant worth Dh78 million in Al Quoz Industrial 1 and the other grant valued at Dh75 million in Al Nahda 3.
