Having a t tint on your car can be a great way to beat the heat and reduce the carbon footprint of your vehicle as the amount of energy needed to cool it can reduce with the use of a tint film. However, there are certain rules that need to be adhered to, which have been put in place by traffic authorities in the UAE to ensure road safety.

Reflective window tints

The authority also warned motorists that using tint films that are reflective or that blur the motorists vision is also against the traffic law.

The post by Abu Dhabi Police added that determining the percentage of tinting the glass was approved after thorough studies, to ensure that it does not affect the level of vision of drivers, in order to preserve their safety and the safety of other road users.
