GOV GAMES OPEN TO RESIDENTS THIS YEAR

The third edition of the Gov Games, an initiative of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, will be held from December 9 to December 11, 2021. Registration will be open until October 30. This year, citizens and residents can take part in the challenge alongside government entities. Participants registered in the community category will compete in a pre-qualifying tournament before securing a place in the Gov Games competition.

Marwan Bin Eisa, director of Gov Games, said: “This year’s challenges are going to take place in the Dubai Design District. The Organising Committee is prepared to deliver another successful edition of the sports competition that once again features the participation of local, regional and international teams.”

The first edition of Gov Games featured 154 teams, while the second edition saw 168 teams participating.
