Australian jumps to death off bridge

A 22-year-old Australian woman jumped to her death from Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmad Bridge in Kuwait. She parked her car near the bridge and jumped into the sea.

Patrol boats were dispatched to the scene. Rescue teams recovered the woman’s body.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the woman left her house in the morning and headed to her workplace, but suddenly changed her route and went in the direction of the bridge. She had not hinted nor threatened anyone that she would commit suicide. Her motive to commit suicide is still being investigated.
