BUILDING ON CCUS EXPERTISE

CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage) — an equally critical component of the world’s decarbonisation toolkit — has been built at commercial scale in the UK and UAE through the Teesside and Al Reyadah facilities.

With the framework agreement, the plan is to expand “shared leadership in CCUS technology” to explore pilot opportunities for further industrial-scale carbon capture within the UAE.
