Majid Al Futtaim to recruit 3,000 Emiratis in 5 years
Move inspired by Nafis programme to draw local talent into private sector
The Majid Al Futtaim Group yesterday announced that it will recruit 3,000 Emiratis seeking to build their careers in the private sector in the coming five years in response to the UAE Government’s federal Nafis programme.
Initiative lauded
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, lauded Majid Al Futtaim’s announcement, instructing the government to prioritise contracts with the group.
On his Twitter page, Shaikh Mohammad said: “Majid Al Futtaim announced today that 3,000 jobs will be provided for Emiratis.. He deserves all thanks and appreciation. There are companies that are partners in building the country… while there are others that only want to benefit from the homeland. We instructed the government that Majid Al Futtaim companies have priority in government contracts.”
Series of initiatives
Majid Al Futtaim has committed to a series of initiatives focused on the professional advancement of its local talent in line with the programme’s mission to encourage public and private sector partnerships.
