Father slowly poisons 40-day-old baby girl

An Egyptian man allegedly killed his 40-day-old baby by feeding her insecticide-laced milk while his wife was away. The mother said: “My husband did not want the baby. He wanted me to abort her. He once told me that he would sell the baby if I continued with the pregnancy.”

She added that her husband even refused to pay for the birth certificate. “40 days after I delivered, I resumed work, but he was poisoning her in my absence,” she said, adding that a forensic report proved that the baby died of poisoning. “I reported the crime to police and wish they execute him by hanging,” she said.
