HYDERABAD MAY SPRING A SURPRISE
A word of caution Delhi Capitals,
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s rivals in today’s clash in the Indian Premier
League — take them lightly at your own peril.
With their backs to the wall at the bottom of the table, the
Hyderabad unit will throw caution to the wind and could spoil the party of the current favourites.
To do so, they have the skills in batting and bowling departments and the brain of Kane Williamson to marshal the resources.
So far the bowlers have been dominating in the early part of the UAE leg, where the wickets are fresh, making it difficult for batsmen, and Delhi will be up against probably the best bowling unit among the eight-team event.
Hyderabad have defended low scores in this season and they would like to continue to do it in Wednesday’s do-or-die clash against a strong Capitals batting at the Dubai International Stadium.
David Warner will be eager to start all guns blazing and the return of Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to bolster the Hyderabad bowling.
The might of Delhi will be tested by Sunrisers Hyderabad, and traditionally the underdogs turn the table on their rivals in the second leg. Hence, I will says Hyderabad have the edge over Delhi.
