President Alvi’s wife tests positive
Samina Alvi, wife of President Dr Arif Alvi, has tested positive for Covid-19.
In a post on twitter yesterday, she announced that she had tested positive and was feeling a bit of weakness. “I was tested positive for covid, day before,” she said and added that she was “doing well” and was only experiencing some weakness.
She requested people to keep her in their prayers.
President Alvi himself had tested positive for the virus in March this year.
He had subsequently advised the nation to “continue to be careful” to avoid an infection from the virus.
