55 shops damaged in fire at auto market

A fire broke out at an automobile market in the Ras Al Khor area of Al Awir district in Dubai in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Gulf News learnt.

Firefighters from Dubai Civil Defence controlled the blaze without reports of any injuries.

According to a Dubai Civil Defence spokesperson, the fire occurred at 5.28am in an auto market at Ras Al Khor.

“Firefighters from Nad Al Sheba Fire Station arrived at the spot at 5.34am. … The fire was brought under control at 6.12am without reports of any injuries,” the Civil Defence spokesperson said
