Minimum pay hiked for Sharjah Police staff

Sultan announces decision through ‘Direct Line’ segment on Sharjah Radio

His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a decision raising the minimum salary of Sharjah Police staff to Dh17,500.

The decision, which aims to provide a decent life to citizens, covers all Emirati staff working at Sharjah police. Dr Shaikh Sultan made the announcement yesterday through the ‘Direct Line’ programme on Sharjah Radio.

Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Sharjah Police Chief, expressed his gratitude to Dr Shaikh Sultan. He said that the decision reflected Dr Shaikh Sultan’s continuous and unstinting support to the Sharjah Police force.

The decision would positively impact the lives of all Sharjah Police staff, he added.
