GULF AIR FLIGHT LANDS IN TEL AVIV

The first commercial flight between Bahrain and Israel landed yesterday at Ben Gurion airport near Tel Aviv.

Gulf Air flight GF972 touched down at Israel’s main airport shortly after Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid began a landmark visit to Manama, where he was to open an embassy.

On October 19, 2020, the UAE’s Etihad Airways became the first GCC carrier to operate a commercial passenger flight to and from Israel.
