Personalis­e your experience with the Expo 2020 Dubai app

Based on a quick quiz, the mobile app crafts your Expo agenda for the day

Planning to visit Expo 2020 Dubai but not sure where to start? The Expo’s official smartphone app is here to help. The app ‘Expo 2020 Dubai’, which is available for Apple and Android devices, allows you to buy tickets, check the extensive events calendar, browse pavilions, and even personalis­e your Expo journey on the app.

How to register on the app

Once you have downloaded the app, you will first be asked to select your preferred language. Next, you will need to allow the app to track your location.

Just so you will be able to track your saved journeys, it is recommende­d to sign up first. This account is also going to aid in booking your tickets.

To register with Expo 2020 on the app, follow these steps:

1. Launch the mobile app and tap the right-most icon to access ‘My Profile’.

2. Select the ‘Log in or Register’ orange tab to get started.

3. Enter your email address and click confirm.

4. Type in your full name and preferred password.

5. Activate your account by clicking on the link sent to your email inbox. Now that you are registered, you can sign in.

The app allows you to book tickets - including season passes, multiple day passes or family packages.

Explore pavilions

The app lists Expo’s pavilions, of which there are over 200, in alphabetic­al order, and when you tap each, it will present you with an overview of the Thematic District you can find the pavilion in, the timings and what to expect. Tap the heart icon to add it to your favourites.

Dining options

The app lists all food outlets set up at Expo, how far they are, type of cuisine etc.
