Dubai Police have launched an awareness campaign to enhance the sense of safety among visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai. The campaign will also help educate people about smart services offered by the force.

The new campaign titled ‘Our Services at Your Fingertips’ reflects full readiness of the force to receive reports and enquiries from the public through smart communication channels.

Digital transformation

Brigadier Khalid Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police, stressed on the importance of using smart services and digital transformation. “The campaign has been launched in line with the requirements of Expo 2020 Dubai, the world’s greatest show that brings together people from 192 nations of different cultures and experiences at one platform,” said Brig Al Razooqi.

Multiple goals

Through the new campaign, the police will introduce security, community service and spread awareness messages among community members.

The campaign will also include messages explaining to people about differentiating between the emergency hotline (999) and the (901) - Call Centre for non-emergency cases.

The campaign will focus on other essential services such as the ‘e-crime’ platform, which is used to report cybercrime and the ‘Police Eye’ service that allows members of the public to report violations and suspicious activities.
