Man held for sexual assault on teenager

Police have arrested an accused suspected of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy in Sadiqabad area of Rawalpindi.

According to a police spokesman, on a complaint from the father of the victim, a case was registered in Sadiqabad police station where police managed to arrest the accused.

The victim was shifted to a hospital for medical examination. Superintendent of Police, Rawalpindi, said that the accused would be confronted with solid evidence so that exemplary punishment could be meted out to him. City Police Officer, Rawalpindi, Muhammad Ahsan Younas, said that abuse against women and children would not be tolerated and culprits would be brought to justice at all costs.
