RCB LIKELY TO EXTEND WINNING STREAK

- —A.K.S Satish, Assistant Editor

Royal Challengers Bangalore, after booking their spot in the playoffs, now will aim to move higher in the table and they won’t get a better opponent than Sunrisers Hyderabad in Abu Dhabi today.

Finishing top two has its own advantage as the losers of the Qualifier 1 gets a chance to redeem themselves in the Qualifier 2. Chennai Super Kings’ loss to Delhi Capitals in their previous game enhances the chances of Virat Kohli’s men to top the table.

With the final game against Capitals, Kohli will aim to get the two points on offer against a misfiring Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have problems plenty on the batting front. None of the batsmen, including skipper Kane Williamson have found their touch. The bowlers fought gamely against Kolkata Knight Riders, despite setting a paltry target of 116.

Royal Challengers are getting into their stride and on form they should sail through the game against Hyderabad and keep their momentum while entering the playoffs.
