Covid not over, be cautions, warns AIIMS chief in video

AIIMS Director, Dr Randeep Guleria yesterday warned that the pandemic was not over and urged people should not lower their guard.

Appearing in an information video by the Health Ministry titled ‘Covid Gurukool’, he said that the second Covid surge still continues.

“If we look at global scenario, increasing cases are being reported in many parts of the world, The pandemic will turn into mere illness and will become part of our day to day life. Majority of people with immunity will have flu-like symptoms. But elderly people with low immunity may get severe illness,” he said.
