Sabarimala shrine to reopen today

The Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple will reopen today at 5pm (IST) for ‘Thula Masam’ puja, the Travancore Devaswom Board said. On the day of the opening, the lamps would be lit by head priest V K Jayaraj Potti in the presence of Thanthri Kandararu Mahesh Mohanaru, a press release said. The prayers will start from the next day. Devotees will be allowed to enter the temple only tomorrow from 5am onwards.
