HALLOWEEN II (2009):

Rob Zombie returned to the franchise, looking to focus on the connection between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, and the idea that they share similar psychological problems. Picking up where the 2007 film ended and then jumping ahead two years, we see Laurie Strode deal with horrors of that night, while Dr Loomis is keen on cashing in the fame with a book deal.
