Woman gangraped for a week, 5 held

A married woman was allegedly gangraped for a week by five men in Patna, an official said yesterday. All the accused have been arrested.

Police said the woman left her house after an argument with her husband on October 10. The woman reached Patna to catch a train to Kolkata. There she asked a hotel owner about the Kolkata-bound train.

The hotel owner arranged for a room for and called his friend who in turn called his friend over and the three raped her. Two more auto drivers joined them in the crime,” the officer said. She was held captive until October 17.
