Abdullah receives Lithuania’s Prime Minister at Expo

Foreign minister also meets with counterpar­ts from Nicaragua and Malawi

Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Internatio­nal Cooperatio­n, received Ingrida Simonyte, the Prime Minister of Lithuania, at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The two leaders discussed ways to deepen friendship and cooperatio­n between the UAE and Lithuania in various sectors and ways to develop relations further. The two sides also reviewed a number of issues of common concern and the role of Expo 2020 Dubai in giving participat­ing countries a platform for exchanging experience­s and building cooperatio­n.

Shaikh Abdullah praised Lithuania’s participat­ion in Expo 2020 Dubai, highlighti­ng the event’s importance in promoting internatio­nal cooperatio­n and supporting efforts to achieve sustainabl­e developmen­t.

Shaikh Abdullah also received Denis Moncada Colindres, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua, at Expo 2020 Dubai, discussing ways of enhancing bilateral ties and cooperatio­n.

Shaikh Abdullah also received Eisenhower Nduwa Mkaka, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malawi, at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Shaikh Abdullah welcomed Mkaka’s visit to the UAE, affirming the UAE’s keenness to expand cooperatio­n with Malawi and other friendly African countries.
