Population challenge
On November 15, the world population crossed eight billion. Population growth is a significant contributor to global warming. More people means more demand for oil, gas, coal, and other fuels mined or drilled from below the Earth’s surface that, when burned, emit enough carbon dioxide into the atmosphere to trap warm air inside like a greenhouse.
Many experts believe the answer lies in improving the health of women and children in developing nations. In addition, people can change their lives through proper education right from the base level.
