It’s alarming to know that the number of diabetic patients has doubled over the last 15 years. The World Health Organisation estimates that around 347 million people are affected by diabetes worldwide.
Obesity, lack of exercise and unhealthy eating habits lead to this disease. Stress is also a reason for this silent killer disease.
Let us make sure we exercise regularly, avoid junk food, and not lead sedentary lives. Regular check-ups and a controlled diet will make us healthier. Prevention is the only way.
