Fire at oil factory in RAK

No injuries reported; material damage being assessed

Amassive fire broke out at an oil factory in Al Hulaylah area in Ras Al Khaimah last afternoon. The police operations room received a report about the blaze at 1.30pm and firefighters rushed to the scene.

The teams prevented the fire from spreading and continued cooling operations until the risk was contained.

No one was hurt in the fire. It resulted in material losses, the value of which has not yet been estimated.

Ras Al Khaimah Police were at the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
