Patient scans now on Malaffi system

Abu Dhabi’s health information exchange system will now allow clinicians to access radiology and diagnostic images from across 60 health care facilities.

The Malaffi Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform will also enable the exchange of X-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasound images.

A recent Malaffi users’ survey revealed that 90 per cent of clinicians felt it is important to have access to the full archive of radiology images.
