TN to send 100 farmers to Israel

The Tamil Nadu government plans to send 100 farmers from the state to Israel for training in modern farming techniques.

While attending a two day Indo-Israel conference on women empowerment, state Agriculture Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam said that the agriculture expertise of Israel was superior and that the state will soon be sending 100 farmers to get first hand training on the latest farm techniques.
