Ban on organic rice exports

The government lifted a ban on export of organic non-basmati rice, including broken rice, yesterday.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) in a notification said that the export of organic non-basmati rice will now be governed by rules that were in place before the ban imposed in September.
