Presidential Court mourns passing as Al Nahyan family shaikhs attend funeral
The Presidential Court yesterday mourned the death of Shaikh Hazza Bin Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In its statement, the Presidential Court prayed to Allah Almighty to grant him eternal paradise and extended its heartfelt condolences to the Al Nahyan family.
Officials and mourners yesterday joined shaikhs from the Al Nahyan family in performing funeral prayers for Shaikh Hazza at the Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed The First Mosque in Abu Dhabi. They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise and to grant the Al Nahyan family solace and patience.
The body of the deceased was then laid to rest at the Al Bateen cemetery in Abu Dhabi.
Attending the prayers were Shaikh Khalid Bin Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Shaikh Saif Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan; Shaikh Suroor Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan; Shaikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Lt Gen Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Shaikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Shaikh Omar Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Shaikh Khalid Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination; Mohammad Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan; Shaikh Theyab Bin Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heros’ Affairs; Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Shaikh Zayed Bin Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other shaikhs and ministers.
