I agree with what orthopaedi­c Dr Khaled M. Faraj said in his Home interview. When done properly, lifting weights or exercising shouldn’t hurt your back. In fact, it may help relieve chronic back pain. If you do suffer from backache, ask your doctor whether you should lift weights and which exercises to avoid. Ghassaan al Fahim Sharjah
