Megastar Ryan Reynolds is creating quite a stir in the UAE capital as he has begun filming his new Netflix movie, 6 Underground, here.
According to reports, filming is currently taking place on Reem Island, with further scenes set to be shot in various other Emirates over the next few weeks. So it’s little surprise that his 31-year-old wife, Blake Lively, who the Deadpool lead credited with having taken a social media photo of him alongside a handful of the film crew having dinner at a restaurant along the Abu Dhabi Corniche, has flown in to join him.
The A-list couple, who have two children, Inez and James, enjoyed dinner overlooking the UAE Presidential Palace and the Marina Eye.
Later, the All I See Is You actress was snapped in a picture herself surrounded by the cast of the movie, directed by Michael Bay, which her husband of six years posted to his Instastories.
The 42-year-old Hollywood heartthrob seems to be enjoying his time here. In a statement provided to The National, the father-of-two said that shooting in the UAE would be one of the highlights of the production, but the Canadian actor wouldn’t divulge details. “You’ll have to wait until the movie hits Netflix to find out why. We’ve only been here a few days so far, but the welcome from everyone has been amazing and I can’t wait to explore Abu Dhabi more.”
