Despite divorce being on the horizon ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT show off star quality at home and abroad
SHOW OFF THEIR STAR QUALITY AT HOME AND AWAY
If there is one thing guaranteed to make Angelina Jolie smile, it’s spending time with her family.
The 43-year-old actress looked happy and relaxed last week as she headed out to lunch in Los Angeles with Shiloh, 12, and tenyear-old twins Knox and Vivienne, her three younger children from her marriage to Brad Pitt.
Wearing a wide-brimmed black hat to keep the sun off her face, Angelina kept it casually chic in jeans, flats and a white T-shirt.
As well as being with her loved ones, there was another reason for Angelina to be cheerful – she is to be a guest editor on BBC Radio 4’s prestigious To d a y programme. Previous guest editors include Prince Harry, who last year interviewed his father the Prince of Wales and former US President Barack Obama.
A UNHCR special envoy since 2012, Angelina has long campaigned about the rights of refugees and women suffering from violence in war-torn countries and will use the show on 28 December to highlight these issues.
Such is her passion, she has already started work on her show.
A spokesman said: “Angelina is grateful for this opportunity to draw on the BBC’s global expertise and network to explore practical solutions to a number of pressing issues of our time.
PUTTING THE CHILDREN FIRST
It also appears that Angelina and Brad are coming to an agreement about custody arrangements, more than two years after they split up.
So far, the former couple, who also have children Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, and 13-year-old Zahara, have failed to reach terms about parental care for their children.
But it was reported last week that they were close to agreeing custody. According to the report, the agreement will see 54-year-old Brad, who last week was photographed looking dapper at an event in Beijing to mark the launch of luxury watch brand Breitling in China, get a “substantial” amount of time with his six children.
