PARIS HILTON

FINALLY REVEALS WHY SHE CALLED OFF HER ENGAGEMENT

Hello! Middle East - - THE INSIDE STORY -

Ever since she was first spotted out and about in Dubai without her dazzling US$2.2million pear-shaped sparkler, Paris Hilton has kept very quiet on the subject of her split from model and actor, Chris Zylka, leaving rumours and speculation to swirl about the reasons for the end of their ten-month engagement.

It seems she is finally ready to tell her side of the story. Appearing on American TV show The Talk, the hotel heiress has spoken out about why she is walking away from her gorgeous 33-year-old fiancé.

The socialite and DJ confessed to having an obsession with a fairy tale happily ever after, something she realised she wasn’t ever going to have with Chris.

“I just feel that when I fall in love, I fall in love fast and hard and it was this whirlwind romance,” the 37-year-old blonde beauty explained.

“I’ve always been obsessed with Disney stories and love stories and I thought it was going to be my happy ending, and I just realised after time it wasn’t the right decision.”

The Simple Life reality star continued: “But I wish him the best and one day I would love to get married and have children, but for right now I’m just focused on myself and my work.”

Meanwhile, Chris has yet to open up about the end of their romance.

Just days after the tell-all interview, the actress commemorated the 15year anniversary of the premiere of reality show, The Simple Life that she starred in alongside fellow socialite Nicole Richie (left inset).

Taking to Instagram Paris gushed: “Happy 15 Year Anniversary to #TheSimpleLife. Loves it! So many fun, amazing & hilarious memories with Nicole. Love that this show is so timeless & iconic. And that it has brought so much happiness & laughter to people around the world. And the #Legend Tinkerbell who I love & miss very much.”
