VICTORIA BECKHAM jets back from the Big Apple to join her family who are enjoy the Christmas festivities across the Atlantic
She may not be joining her former Spice Girls bandmates on their reunion tour, but Victoria Beckham confirmed last week that she will at least be cheering them on from the audience.
The fashion designer spoke for the first time about why she has decided not to join the girls on stage, saying that she is too busy with her work commitments – but she would “absolutely” be in the crowd at some point.
“I have so much going on with my business and my family,” she explained. “I think the girls are going to do a great job [without me].”
Proving just how busy she is with her eponymous clothing label – she is also planning to launch her own YouTube channel with beauty and fashion tutorials – the 44-year-old didn’t get much rest in the city that never sleeps when she flew to New York on business.
Although she wrote: “It’s cold in NYC!” on her Instagram stories, she seemed immune to the chill when she flew back to London to join her family who hadn’t accompanied her on this work trip.
Getting right into the holiday spirit, the dashing couple were seen celebrating at the Haig Club holiday party on Monday night at the Laylow private members club in London.
David hosted the party alongside entrepreneur Jefferson Hack -- who shares daughter Lila Grace with supermodel Kate Moss.
Even though Lila wasn’t at the soiree, 19-year-old Brooklyn Beckham made an appearance to support his father, as did Louise Beckham, David’s sister.
Other celebrities who turned up to the former footballer’s event included
close friend Dave Gardner -- who is dating actress Liv Tyler -- the comedian Jack Whitehall, as well as Snatch director Guy Ritchie.
It is rumoured that Guy and David will be going into business soon as they’ve snapped up a pub that they’re hoping to completely renovate and reopen into an exclusive Soho House style bolt-hole for the A-list.
Showing that Victoria wasn’t the only one with serious style credentials in the family, David donned a suave fitted grey suit which he teamed with a brown polo neck sweater.
WINTER FUN FOR DAVID AND GANG
Whilst Victoria was tending to business in New York, the fun didn’t stop for the rest of the clan in London.
Her husband David was holding the fort with the couple’s children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven.
The former footballer took the opportunity to enjoy a quality afternoon out with Harper at the ice skating rink at the Natural History Museum in South Kensington. Father and daughter seemed to be having a whale of a time at the rink, with doting dad David, 43, snapping photos as Harper showed off her skating skills.
There was more snowy family fun to be had when Cruz and Romeo joined Harper and David for a trip to the Winter Wonderland funfair in London’s Hyde Park.
Making the most of all the attractions, the gang were seen trying out the rides and sampling the food on sale, including gigantic hot dogs.
David joined Harper in a bumper car and later went on some of the faster rides with Cruz, with the two having a go on a slingshot, which fired them high into the air in a caged ball.
Neither daredevil seemed fazed by the fastpaced action and laughed and joked as they were brought back down to earth.
