Hil­ton glob­ally ranked sec­ond best place to work

The ho­tel climbed seven spots com­pared to last year

Hil­ton World­wide has been ranked sec­ond in the World’s Best Work­places by the Great Place to Work. Recog­nised in the list for a third in a row, the ho­tel com­pany climbed seven spots to its new place and is the high­est ranked hos­pi­tal­ity com­pany.

“Our Team Mem­bers are the heart of our busi­ness, and they have been the driv­ing force be­hind our growth and suc­cess around the world for nearly 100 years,” said Hil­ton pres­i­dent & CEO, Christo­pher J. Nas­setta.

Some of Hil­ton’s in­dus­trylead­ing ben­e­fits in­clude min­i­mum two-week parental leave for all in­clud­ing fa­thers and adop­tive par­ents and eights ad­di­tional weeks for moth­ers who gave birth. The com­pany also pro­vides adop­tion as­sis­tance, GED sup­port and dis­counted stays at Hil­ton prop­er­ties around the world.

Un­der the [email protected]­ton ini­tia­tive, the com­pany is de­sign­ing and cre­at­ing in­no­va­tive cor­po­rate of­fice space and at­tire for Team Mem­bers work­ing in phys­i­cally de­mand­ing jobs, a state­ment said.

Em­ploy­ees also re­ceived travel ben­e­fits and can choose from a va­ri­ety of vol­un­teer pro­gramme which sup­port Hil­ton’s ‘Travel with Pur­pose’ cor­po­rate re­spon­si­bil­ity mis­sion.

Hil­ton’s work­force is made up of more than 390,000 across 106 coun­tries and ter­ri­to­ries around the world.
