Dukes Dubai recently hosted a
Christmas tree lighting ceremony for children supported by Emirates Red
The event, which took place on
December 12, was attended by 20 underprivileged children from the Emirates Red Crescent.
The children joined Clive Pereira, head chef of Duke’s West 14th Steakhouse, at the hotel’s Dukesy Kids Club for an afternoon of Christmas cookie decorating. This was followed by a visit from Santa, who led the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the lobby.
Tristan de la Porte du Theil, general manager, Dukes Dubai, said, “I am excited to announce the launch of what we hope to be a long and successful collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent. A key focus of Dukes Dubai is to give back to those in need as we celebrate the season of giving and we hope to expand our work together in 2019.”
Christian Potvin, director of rooms at Dukes Dubai said, “Every opportunity to positively influence a child’s day, must be acted upon and celebrated. I consider myself very privileged to be afforded the opportunity to participate alongside Emirates Red Crescent, in such a giving event.”
