Zabeel House by Jumeirah Al Seef is a new ho­tel ex­pe­ri­ence on the banks of Dubai Creek.

It caters to trav­ellers who value Jumeirah Group’s award-win­ning hos­pi­tal­ity but are keen to ex­pe­ri­ence it in a more ca­sual and re­laxed set­ting.

Some 200 de­sign-led rooms are of­fered in three styles – Pop­u­lar, Plush or Suite – along with four restau­rants and bars, pop-up events and a rooftop in­fin­ity pool with views across Al Seef and one of the world’s most fa­mous wa­ter­ways.

Free WiFi has also been pro­vided for vis­i­tors, who can ex­pect ser­vice from wel­com­ing but un­ob­tru­sive staff and will pay from Dhs495 per night in sum­mer and Dhs725 in win­ter, plus taxes.

In to­tal, there are 181 Pop­u­lar rooms, in­clud­ing 20 twins and three rooms that cater for dis­abled guests, 10 Plush rooms and nine Zabeel House Suites.

Vis­i­tors can en­joy or­ganic liq­uid ameni­ties by OSME which are wrapped in cer­ti­fied eco-friendly and biodegrad­able pack­ag­ing, work­outs at the pri­vate gym and a mas­sage at one of the two treat­ment rooms.

There is also easy ac­cess to meet­ing rooms and creative spa­ces that are geared to­wards col­lab­o­ra­tion, as well as the con­ve­nience of be­ing lo­cated close to a wide range of em­bassies and the busi­ness dis­trict.

The first ho­tel in Jumeirah’s new ‘ Up­scale-Ca­sual’ col­lec­tion, Zabeel House by Jumeirah Al Seef de­scribes it­self as “the ba­sics done bril­liantly” and is lo­cated in Al Seef, the new­est des­ti­na­tion by Mer­aas – which mas­ter­minded The Beach, Box Park, City Walk and La Mer.

This two-kilo­me­tre prom­e­nade of shops and cafes on the south bank of Dubai Creek is where old meets new, as mod­ern ar­chi­tec­ture blends with the tra­di­tional her­itage of the emi­rate.

Next door to Zabeel House by Jumeirah Al Seef is Zabeel House MINI by Jumeirah which ac­com­mo­dates 150 ‘ Pocket’ rooms de­signed with what is de­scribed as “max­i­mum at­ti­tude and min­i­mal frills”.

There are some 131 ‘ Stan­dard Pocket’ rooms, in­clud­ing 13 twins and three rooms for dis­abled guests.

Each bed­room ceil­ing fea­tures a map of Dubai to in­spire ex­plo­ration, while the ho­tel is also home to a court­yard space aimed at host­ing pop-up events and out­door film screen­ings, plus two street-food in­spired restau­rants and easy trans­port links to Dubai, parks and beaches.

A vend­ing ma­chine has been placed on each floor of Zabeel House MINI, which also boasts two restau­rants.

Rates to stay here start at Dhs350 in the sum­mer and Dhs495 in win­ter, plus taxes.

There are plans for the col­lec­tion to add an­other ho­tel in Dubai, Zabeel House by Jumeirah – The Greens, which is ex­pected to open later this year; as well as a prop­erty in the King­dom of Saudi Ara­bia and one in Lon­don.
