Dubai De­sign Week and Down­town De­sign brought brand-driven in­stal­la­tions at The Dubai Mall and Alserkal Av­enue

Once again Dubai De­sign Week had pulses races and imag­i­na­tions in over­drive. With more than 120 com­pa­nies par­tic­i­pat­ing and more than 230 events through­out Dubai De­sign District (d3) and the city, thou­sands of visitors took part in the re­gion’s largest and most im­por­tant de­sign fair in the Mid­dle East. Ex­hi­bi­tions and in­stal­la­tions played a cru­cial part in brand par­tic­i­pa­tion through­out the fair. From the stands at Down­town De­sign, the com­mer­cial tenet of the fair, to Down­town Edi­tions, its plat­form for be­spoke it­er­a­tions of new de­sign clas­sics, lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional brands col­lab­o­rated with re­gional gal­leries and Fash­ion Av­enue at The Dubai Mall to cre­ate mem­o­rable dis­plays.

De­signed by 4th year In­te­rior De­sign stu­dents at the Amer­i­can Univer­sity of Shar­jah (AUS), the ‘ DePaso’ in­stal­la­tion, spon­sored by Cosentino, paid homage to the vis­ual po­etry of ma­te­rial sur­faces.
