UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

-

Does anything keep you awake at night?

These days it is the coronavirus situation! And I would like to quote Charles Darwin here: ‘It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.’

Do you believe in fate – being in the right place at the right time?

Absolutely, but you must be ready for fate to work in your favour; always be prepared. And when you are ready, opportunity knocks.

Over the years, what have you learnt from failures?

No success comes without failure. Life is full of ups and downs, and failures are only learnings and stepping stones along the way. They help us evolve and bring us one step closer to our end goal.

As every change begins at home, how are you bringing about change in your immediate environment and beyond?

I focus on modelling my kids, teaching them resilience, faith, strength and to be innovative.

As a successful business leader, what legacy do you want to leave behind?

I want to show the world that mums can change the world. I want to leave behind a brand that has transformed the face of e-commerce business. A brand with social impact at its core with a philosophy that when you empower a mother to make informed choices, you allow her to raise great kids, which leads to changing the region – one mum at a time.
